Connect with Councillors - Councillor Sophie Traynor

By Councillor Sophie Traynor, Clydebank Central Ward

Councillors are responsible for ensuring the council has a clear direction and are in charge of the councils decision making process. However, we are first and foremost there to ensure that the local communities voice is being represented as part of this.

As local Councillor, I believe it is important for constituents to know how to contact their elected representatives to raise their view, concerns of any issues with them. Councillors deal with a variety of matters such as roads, anti-social behaviour and housing. However, this is not a limited list.

I always welcome the chance to talk to my constituents about what is important to them. Constituents can contacted their Cllrs via phone call, email, through advice surgeries which are held regularly within the community or via home visits.
