My name is Karen and my age is debatable depending on how I am feeling lol. I am a volunteer adviser within Improving Lives Charity, I am also on the board.
I first contacted Kevin over 2 years ago looking for some information and have been caught in the web ever since. It is not something I had ever thought about doing before, but I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here.
I have learned so many new skills and it has built my confidence over time. Through my time
volunteering I have met so many new people and have made friends that will last a lifetime. I
have done things
I never thought I would have done or were capable of doing, but if I have
learned one thing in this life, it doesn’t come with a manual, live life to the fullest every day.
Some things might take a little longer to achieve and that’s alright.
Last year was my first year attending the Fundraiser Night and Tour De Millport, this will be great again this year and I am looking forward to going.
